Vehicle Programs compatible with Win7?
I would like to give SJG my money, but the GVB is not for modern my OS.
I hope this doesn't step on anyone's toes. I don't need spaceships grainier rules. I specifically want 2nd. Vehicles for 3rd stuff until the holy grail for 4th comes out.

You could just use a spreadsheet. That's what I did in 3e, anyway.

Remaking the program entirely from scratch? No thank you.

Why do you need a program in the first place? The book was written to be totally usable with pencil and paper. You can use a spreadsheet to keep track of stuff, you don't actually need it to be especially sophisticated. I just used to fill them in as I went.

Really? That's good enough news to try it out and hope for the best... when I get a few bucks.

This is absolutely the sort of thing that a spreadsheet lets you do.

I didn't do a complicated sheep (basically I just wanted a fast way to total up cost, weight, volume, etc. and determine performance numbers). Each time I did a new type of vehicle, I modified the spreadsheet for it (so I ended up with sheets for helicopters, wheeled vehicles jets, hydrofoils, etc.). But, back to what i quoted: While you can do a design with pencil and paper, I strongly recommend not to.
