Default Extracting a vampire "template" from DF Monsters

The vampire in DF Monsters is a bit bland for a monster type that's often supposed to be a memorable "boss". So I thought it might be worth trying to extract a "template" from the monster write-up. Doing so seems fairly simple—my guess is that the write-up assumes a vampire that had all 12s in attributes in life, and no modifications to the secondary characteristics derived from those attributes. That means the template would give ST +8, Will +3, Per +3, Basic Speed +3.00, and FP N/A, plus all the traits listed under "traits". Though I guess I can see a case for raising or lowering ST by a level. With this you can build villains like the following (shoutout to Gaming Ballistic's Delvers to Grow—this guy was built as a master knight):
Lord Vladimir Drake
ST:22...........HP: 22........Speed: 9.25
DX: 13..........Will: 13......Move: 9
IQ: 10..........Per: 13
HT: 12..........FP: N/A.......SM: 0

Dodge: 15....Block: 15....DR: See notes.

Bite (14): 2d-1 cutting. If this penetrates DR, it drains 3 HP and heals the vampire 1 HP. This drain can be maintained if the vampire grapples the victim, bites, and holds on. Reach C.
Fine Broadsword (16): 4d+2 cutting or 2d+3 impaling. Reach 1.
Mace (15): 4d+3 crushing. Reach 1.
Composite Bow (14): 2d+3 impaling. Ranged, with Acc 3, 1/2D 330, Max 440, Shots 1(2), Bulk ‑7.
Large Knife (13): 3d-2 cutting at reach C, 1 or 1d+2 impaling at reach 1.

Traits: Armor Mastery; Bad Temper (12); Bloodlust (12); Born War-Leader 4; Code of Honor (Chivalry); Combat Reflexes; Enhanced Block 1; High Pain Threshold; Loner (12); No Sense of Humor; Recovery; Shield Wall Training; Vampire Traits.
Skills: Armory (Melee Weapons)-10; Armory (Missile Weapons)-10; Axe/Mace-15; Bow-14; Brawling-14; Broadsword-16; Connoisseur (Weapons)-9; Fast-Draw (Arrow)-14; Knife-13; Leadership-14; Savoir-Faire-10; Shield-16; Strategy-13; Tactics-14; Wrestling-12.
Class: Undead.
Notes: A combination of mail and plates provides DR 5/3 to the arms, legs, and rear torso, as well as DR 10 to the feet, hands, skull, and front torso. Carries a Nordlond-style shield (Delvers to Grow, p. 38) and several weapons, but is strong enough to avoid encumbrance. Truly evil.

FWIW, there's a 125 point vampire template in Pyramid #3/72. Strictly speaking, it's for GURPS DF rather than DFRPG, but at this level of resolution I suspect it doesn't make a lot of difference.

There's also a 60-point vampire racial template in Pyramid #3/50, p. 14.

I make it a practice to make lists of official templates and lenses, and according to that list, these are the available vampire templates ...

Vampire (Discworld Roleplaying Game, p. 109) [107 or 108 points]
Vampire (GURPS Banestorm, p. 201) [100 points]
Vampire (GURPS Fantasy, p. 111) [80 points]
Vampire (GURPS Monster Hunters 1, p. 51) [200 points]

Vampire (Pyramid #3/50, p. 14) [60 points]
Vampire (Pyramid #3/72, p. 25) [125 points]
Vampire (GURPS Basic Set: Characters, p. 262) [150 points]
Vampire, Jiangshi (GURPS Horror, p. 58) [58 points]

Vampire, Lamia (GURPS Horror, p. 66) [408 points]
Vampire, Moroi (GURPS Horror, p. 58) [161 points]
Vampire, Psychic (GURPS Horror, p. 58) [43 points]
Vampire, Romantic (GURPS Horror, p. 65) [252 points]

Vampire, Upurina (GURPS Horror, p. 58) [54 points]
Vampire, Vetala (GURPS Horror, p. 59) [401 points]
Vampire Lord (GURPS Horror, p. 59) [939 points]
Vampire Mage (GURPS Fantasy, p. 112) [135 points]

As one can see from those wildly-varying point totals, there is a LOT of opinion as to what constitutes a "proper" vampire. Making a vampire template just for your game world is a perfectly doable option.

I'm fully aware that GURPS has many existing vampire templates (though I'm impressed by the comprehensiveness of Mysterious Dark Lord v3.2's list). Made this post because I thought it would be interesting to see what sort of vampire Kromm thought was fitting for DFRPG. Oddly, I notice that his vampire write-up doesn't say anything about their need for blood—maybe because Restricted Diet doesn't exist in DFRPG?

And of course an entire 128 pages book dedicated to them in 3ed, GURPS Blood Types.

All easy to translate to 4ed as always.

There are no templates in Monster Hunters 3. Those are write-up of vampires as monsters.

But they're not written up yet.

The OP wanted to know about an official vampire for DFRPG. But there isn't a vampire template just for DFRPG, it seems.

But they are a full writeup with Attributes, Advantages etc. So you can use them for PCs they just tell you not to in a MH campaign.
