Super fantasy Heroes
My friend will be running a super hero themed Gurps game soon and he said that we can choose a fantasy race if we want. I'm thinking about a gnome whose powers are based on what type and what flavor of candy he eats.
I'm not sure of what super power to give to each one, so I look for help. Candies and flavors are: Blue raspberry loli pops Strawberry puffs Lemon Drops Cherry Drops Chocolate Bars Pop Rocks Gummie worms Gummie Bears Peppermints Jawbreakers I don't know if this helps but he is giving us 900 points to play with and the candy is free but the powers will be 2 points each. If you have any other candies that would be a good idea please let me know. |

The Rubberman Template from 4e Supers. Bouncing, of course. Re: Super fantasy Heroes
Each power only costs 2 points? With a 900-point budget?
Milk Duds: User gains Neutralize vs other superpowers (or possibly just against candy-themed powers, but of any source, if the GM thinks that's going to be a thing in the game). |

Re: Super fantasy Heroes
Interesting. May I add this is my first GURPS game? I have a habit of breaking the game; whenever we play a Table top RPG within; the confines of the rules so I think he's trying to stop me from becoming too powerful.

Re: Super fantasy Heroes
At 900 points with all powers costing 2 points each, one could become a literal god. The nice thing in GURPS is the GM Veto rule for proposed powers of extreme munchkinism.

Re: Super fantasy Heroes
Yep. 900 points works for Supers, but, powers should cost their actual value. Requiring you to actually eat candy to activate them is a nice limitation, but, being able to do fancy awesome things should cost more than 2 points.
