Default Starting a turn with a monster in the room

Ok,

at the start of your turn you get a DxM draw, then combat will occur due to the lurking Monster. Between these two points can you re-arrange your pack and play items down to the table?

I presume you can, but i'm unsure as the rules say if your start your turn in a room with a monster, combat Immediately begins.

Thanks

No, you can't, because combat begins immediately.

Ah, thanks.

I apologise for the barrage of questions I'm creating a reference guide and these questions keep popping in to my head from last nights 1st play through.

Nothing to apologize for! We're glad to see new players, always.
