Holding cold objects damage
What are the effects of holding cold objects? There are great rules for setting things on fire but what about grabbing a -100 degree doorknob barehanded?
What would the relation between damage dice and contact with frozen objects be?

Re: Holding cold objects damage
It's going to depend heavily on the heat conductivity and capacity of the cold object, just like it varies for hot objects (boiling water at 212F is way more dangerous than 400F hot air escaping your oven).

Re: Holding cold objects damage
Certainly.
We have rules for being touched by a burning torch, splashed with molten metal, or running through fire as well as various other high temperature things but no real guidelines for the other end of the spectrum. I can, and have, eyeballed effects to keep a game going but I have little to no personal experience or knowledge to draw on to know if I was even in the ballpark of realism. It makes things difficult to maintain consistency. Since there are so many people on these forums with skills and knowledge I don't have I was hoping there were some who could offer some guidance.
