I'm amazed! Way to go guys! I'm definitely picking this one up!

(For the detective in me: Is this "unexpectedly revived" (or something, I can't remember the wording, nor find the post) that RPK was working?)

I'll decide whether to pick these up when all five are released. It'll depend on how much the other five cost...

But so far, I can't see myself buying these. I've only watched the two Arnold Schwhatever movies, that's all I know about Conan.

Conan was one of those few gurps product ever translated in Italian, and I dearly paid on ebay to get those adventures I didn't own.

And yet - while not of any particular interest to me - I'm somehow thrilled and elated at these news. Even if there's not even one chance to see new products, I'm so delighted to see Conan once again alive and vibrant!

These are based on the literary works, so the releases may not have as much meaning for you. Still? CROM! :)

The movies were, frankly, not particularly representative of the works of Robert E. Howard. And by "not particularly," I mean "hardly at all." For example, have you read the book Starship Troopers and seen the movie? Imagine something a smidge less true to the original work and you're pretty much there.

But for you, that's neither here nor there. What might be relevant for you, however, is that it's probably the best, most diverse, most richly detailed 128-page fantasy setting for GURPS which has ever been written. Should you ever find yourself in the market for a place for sword-swinging heroes to run around fighting bad guys and getting loot, this is it.

Good advice, but the release on this occasion tells us that SJGames is still looking out to make the other licensed books available in digital form in the event that it becomes possible for them to legally/contractually/profitably do so. That's pleasant news for everyone, even if it turns out it's not ultimately feasible for SJGames to release anything else.

I've just downloaded it - fantastic result to have this available again even if only for an (implied) limited time!
