Re: GURPS Conan returns
Occasionally I check the Conan/REH forums. There, some self-appointed film industry experts said that the last Conan movie was such a shameful disaster (indeed, it's almost repulsive, expecially for those who had high expectations about it) that the Conan franchise-license turned from gold to garbage in just a few days.
Talking about the possibility of sequels, it seems that - because of it - Conan now equals to failure for those who want to make big money from it. So, it might be that now it's affordable once again to use that name and milieu. Apparently, from such an evil (the offensive movie) might come some great good for gamers!

Re: GURPS Conan returns
I love the idea that it is available.
For those who seek more, liek a conversion I think the RPM system would have been an awesome fit for it as well and suggest you submit some ideas for spells to the new RPM book. Possibly the names may have to change for legal reasons but still... GURPS Update should handle most of the conversion of the book and some of the work for the modules with minimal effort. Re: GURPS Conan returns
I think I need to check the sub-basement of the Temple of Mitra and make sure the Heart of Ahriman is still there, because something long dead just arose.

Re: GURPS Conan returns
This is CONAN! Born on the Battlefield is probably the best title for any 4e update. :D

Re: GURPS Conan returns
Awesome! I'm actually DMing Conan now (for real this time, my group is actually not made of flakes). I have a paper copy and though I didn't like it much (more de Camp than Howard) I know it'll inspire others.

The GURPS Conan books were some of my favorite products.

As for the e23s, I have them all in dead tree, but these are worth buying again. |

"So unlikely as to hardly be worth talking about", I would have said, but I guess it doesn't hurt to dream :)

Re: GURPS Conan returns
I'd settle for a generic GURPS Sword & Sorcery book. Call it "GURPS Grignr", bet that isn't a very valuable property.
