I can punch it in the eyes?

Anyway, I'll go with the neck.

Well, I don't think the Armadillo is that big.

I continue smacking the neck around while I suffocate the Armadillo into submission.

Seems like that glances off.

You have it in a choke hold, but you're not going to actually choke it?

(Its an attack, but it resolves as a quick contest between your ST+3 and the higher of ST or HT of your target. your margin of victory is the damage dealt, multiplied by 1.5 for neck damage as usual)

The armadillo tries to dodge, but its got a -6 to dodge, so even its roll of 6 fails.

Its got 2 DR on its soft spots, so that's two damage and three injury: 15 damage total. It has 23 HP, so that's one short of dropping it below 1/3 HP. shock penalty is -1.

Could I get a count of how many arms are grappling the armadillo (as opposed to punching it?), the exact count matters if it tries to shake you off.

The armadillo recovers from its stuns this turn... but does nothing else. It now has only a -2 to defenses, not a -6.

Haley aims her rock, Arlon seems to be on all defense.

I mean, I was going to suffocate the Armadillo with the choke hold instead of strangle it and crush it's windpipe, but at 8/23 HP left that seems faster than waiting for it to exhaust FP, so Strangulation it is!

So for the previous turn
Quote:
[888] 24-09-25 16:02:21 BST
Strangulation (21 ST +3)
-3d6 +24
- 1 - 6 - 6 + 24 = 11
And the current turn
Quote:
[889] 24-09-25 16:04:43 BST
Strangulation (21 ST +3)
-3d6 +24
- 1 - 6 - 1 + 24 = 16

2 applying the choke hold, 2 on the body (in case it breaks free of one but not the other), 2 smacking it around on the neck.

Speaking of smacking it around on the neck

Armadillo resists the strangulation, but takes 2 damage and 3 injury, dropping it to 5/23. Its also down 2 FP from oxygen loss.

The armadillo tries to break free... it fails. Its at half dodge now.

Well, no use letting up.

2: 3 + 1 + 5 = 9 ... success

One potential hit

So (7-2)*1.5=7? That gets it down to -2 damage.

I guess the Armadillo will be over soon.

armadillo rolled a 9... no strangulation damage.

armadillo doesn't dodge the blow to its neck though, and falls unconscious.

Haley: "We're going to need weapons... too bad there isn't a tree we could use branches from." She goes looking for stones. and a couple of gourds as well.

Arlon: "I used quite a bit of magic there... could I have 15 minutes to recover it back?"

I look around at what's in this cave. Maybe there's a tough vine or something like a stick.

"Sure, I'll just check that archway."

I go check what's in the alcove.

I presume Vassarious has access to their "natural" weapons, despite looking like manufactured ones.

Vassarious will join them in examining the archway and immediate area.

There is nothing like a real club in here... but there is a nice long vine that will work as a poor one. At least a little. How will you cut it?

The "Genesis" weapons, yes, though mentally I always imagine them growing out of the skin.

The alcove is two yards by two yards, and carved into the stone at the back is a plaque saying "The well is beyond this room".
