Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
I'm not thrilled about splitting the party either.
Vassarious would certainly prefer to avoid where magic will not function, as they would revert to their native form and may have difficulty fitting... |

Arlon: "No, we do not split the party! We stick together. The warriors cover the magic users in the no magic zone, and the magic users cover the warriors in the no weapon zone." Haley: "Besides, I don't know how the simple warning 'no magic' will interact with divine magic. It could quite possibly be covered." Arlon: "Are the portals one way?" Haley (fails roll): "I can't tell."

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
I push a tendril through the portal and pull it back out. That'll give an answer.

Vassarious examines the portals to see if they can offer any insight into their specific nature...

It comes back just fine. Arlon: "I don't know if that actually proves anything." The portals seem to have an effect targeting objects... some objects will be separated from the user when they go through, and teleported to a different location, though one not too far from here. They also seem to be two-way portals.

I'll go with Blue.
-- Assuming V shares what he knows "Well, if we're not splitting up, let's go with the Red portal then."

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
As Vassarious approaches the circle, he feels pressure... there is a ward here that takes a will roll to cross. It only seems to be effecting V. It will take a will roll of 20 to cross it.

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
A will roll of 20? Does this mean a quick contest of Vassarious' Will of 14 against a ward ST of 20, in the RPM standard?
Vassarious will try and breach the ward... We can potentially resort to Destiny points to affect margins as needed. |

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
Its a DF structure, not a MH ward... I rolled a success by 5 for V. I think a single destiny point will get you through.
Arlon and Haley are fine going through the red portal first: Arlon would especially prefer it.
