Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
The water ripples, but nothing emerges. Arlon goes ahead and scouts the pillars, and the water itself, but finds nothing.
Haley wades in, the water coming up to her dwarven waist. She retrieves the bone skiriken from the water with a grabber she's carrying. "What's this?" she asks Vassarious. She also notices his form change. (probably involves skinny stork legs with long toes? that's how you get good footing while wading in nature.) Arlon: "Nothing on the other pillar. This room has been cleared. Probably before all the trouble started." One set of eastern stairs go north, they are just at the east end of the room. A 10 yard hall leads to an open 5 yard by 5 yard chamber, with low ceilings. In the center is a stone dias with an singed ivory cube on it, resting in a depression. A constant tone emanates from the cube, as does a faint glow. In the dias is a small receptacle for something to drop into. The cube is about six inches on each side, and has a wolf engraved on top, a Hare in the front, A rat on the left, a Stag on the right, and a Boar behind it. Haley: "This has nothing to do with sabwerk. Its new. Style is too different" Quote:

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
There is a Bear on the bottom.
What side is facing up when you put the cube down? The "Western" passage you haven't been through yet (on the west side of the room but headed south, the one headed west is where you came from) turns south, but then heads east. It opens up into a 5 yard by 15 yard natural cavern strewn with boulders two yards high and two yards across. There are lots of hiding places here, but Vassarious feels safe here, for some reason*. Passing through, you come to a heavy wooden door with a strange sort of handle. *danger sense.

"Could be. Could find out we need it to solve a puzzle later. Could be that selects which trap is active, or releases certain monsters into the dungeon."

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
Haley: "The door isn't locked from this side at least... that's a funny looking handle though."
