The three stop in their tracks. How far is Vassarious from them?


The one holding the orb hisses. "This is him. Watch for the others."


We enter combat time. I don't think anyone is surprized.


The Minotaur with the polearm and Elf with the bow will go first, then Haley and Arlon, then the PCs, then the guy with the orb. The swarm attacks on the turn of the guy with the orb.


I do need to know distance, that's very much up to Vassarious.

I will shoot the orb (unless I needed to start aiming with combat time, in which case, aim, then shoot).

If possible, Vassarious will let them pass slightly before he announced his presence, putting the archer closest at distance of about ten yards.

So the swarms are behind their controllers... nice.

The minotaur lowers its weapon and moves 7 yards towards Vassarious ... the long tip needs only one more yard before it needs to be dodged.

The Elf draws and knocks an arrow.


Your allies start moving.


The PCs move next. Halcyone will be able to shoot the orb this turn. Halcyone is between 10 and 15 yards from the orb.

So -10 before accounting for aim. I'll fire a full burst with Aim at the orb.

I'm trying to imagine how you fire 10 rounds at the orb, hit twice, and miss the guy holding the orb. I'm rolling at least suppressing fire at him... and we get one hit for 27 damage.

I think the guy stays up... what weapon is Halcyone shooting with? its not on her sheet.

The orb shatters into pieces. The man looks terrified.

It's a Gauss Rifle from Ultra-Tech. I'll add it to the sheet.
