Steven Brust's To Reign in Hell.
Definitely not Anne Rice's Angel Time. |

Re: My Book Recommendations
A friend of mine recently pointed me to the Bobby Dollar novels by Tad Williams. I would strongly recommend The Dirty Streets of Heaven for everyone interested in In Nomine.

Re: My Book Recommendations
American Gods by Neil Gaiman could easily represent a variant of the setting where Ethereals have a little more leeway to visit the Corporeal world. Or where, perhaps, the banality of the modern age has squeezed the flow of essence to Heaven so that Angels are hurting almost as bad as Ethereals.

Re: My Book Recommendations
Seconded. For a moment, I wondered if Tad had a shades-of-gray campaign going.

Re: My Book Recommendations
Clovenhoof (and sequels) by Heide Goody and Iain Grant.
They represent a highly variant In Nomine campaign, but are still funny reading.
