Default Monthly Pay

Greetings wayward heros,

How would one go about making a modifier for the Monthly Pay stat to increase or decrease the 'wealth level' of the character's current job?

E.G. for a character with Multimillionare 1 who's current occupation only supplies income at the Filthy Rich level?

Much obliged.

Default Re: Monthly Pay

I've found a solution.

I changed the "gives" tag on ST:Monthly Income to:

Code:
@indexedvalue(3 + AD:High Wealth Job::level - DI:Low Wealth Job::level + AD:Wealth::level - DI:Wealth::level, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 20, 100, 1000, 10000, 100000, 1000000) * @indexedvalue(ST:Tech Level::basevalue+1, 625, 650, 675, 700, 800, 1100, 1600, 2100, 2600, 3600, 5600, 8100, 10600)
Then made a datafile with:
Code:
[Advantages]
<User Items>
High Wealth Job, 0/0/0/0,displaycost(varies),noresync(yes),tl(),usernotes(),familiarities(),description(Your job pays more than normal for your wealth level.), cat(Mundane, Social, Wealth, Mundane Social)

[Disadvantages]
<User Items>
Low Wealth Job, 0/0/0/0,displaycost(varies),noresync(yes),tl(),usernotes(),familiarities(),description(Your job pays less than normal for your wealth level. This may be because you inherited your wealth, or you lost your better job.), cat(Mundane, Social, Wealth, Mundane Social)
This seems to be working as desired. Though, TBH, considering that these monthly income values are suggestions inside a range of possible jobs, setting the base value of the monthly income stat to something specific based on GM fiat seems like a better solution.
