Universities for Paranormal Private Security Commanders & Executives
I'm looking for colleges and universities which offer useful education for people whose cover jobs are executives and field commanders in the private security business operating from US states along the Gulf Coast, from Texas to Florida, and oriented toward the Caribbean.
That would include undergraduate or graduate degrees in Caribbean Security, Criminology or Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Military Science, National Security Studies, Security Studies and anything similar. Anthropology, comparative theology, the study of dead or rare languages and the kind of research and analysis of multiple sources historians study is also useful to occultists or occult intelligence analysts, but anthropology and history degrees are generally offered at most universities which offer any kind of range of subjects, while intelligence and security studies are a much newer field, so fewer universities offered such degrees in the 1980s and 1990s, even if they are much more popular now. The world in general is not aware of the paranormal, and the world is generally No Mana, especially in broad daylight in urban areas, and usually even at night in laboratories filled with sceptical scientists. Absent Mana, which tends to be found in more remote locations, either empty of people or full of people who already believe in the supernatural, rituals do nothing and what were previously monstrous creatures become whatever they were before the supernatural twisted them, perhaps a coyote with mange or an unfortunate homeless man. I'm looking for which Caribbean, Commonwealth, French, Canadian and US (ideally universities within that Gulf Coast region from Texas, through Louisiana, Alabama and Florida, with Mississippi, Georgia and the Carolinas being possible, if less connected) universities offer useful degrees, but also which year they started to do so, as there are character backstories to consider and many of the senior staff would have been educated in the 1980s or 1990s, people of entirely normal age might have attended university in the 2000s and I hear there are very young people whose education took place in the 2010s. It's 2019 in the campaign.

Re: Universities for Paranormal Private Security Commanders & Executives
Universities from which important NPCs have been mentioned as having graduated from include the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas A&M, Texas A&M Maritime Academy and Texas A&M University at Galveston, Texas Southern University and several of the institutions that make up the Texas State University System.
Other important NPCs have degrees from Louisiana State University, Tulane University and Loyola University New Orleans. There may be some NPCs from universities in Mississippi and/or Alabama, but if so, I don't recall it having been established in play yet, so could use details on whether any of them offer the kind of degrees I'm looking for. Many important NPCs have degrees from the University of Florida, one PC in Treasure Island - Caribbean by Night, a prequel adventure, was a graduate student there, and numerous significant NPCs teach or have taught there. Some NPCs also attended other colleges or universities in Florida, but I have not yet established that in much detail and could use pointers on which universities there offer the kind of degrees I'm looking for, either to study anthropology and the occult in some way, or criminology, intelligence and security degrees. French universities from which important NPCs have graduated include Université Paris 5 René Descartes, Paris-Sorbonne and other components of what is today legally Sorbonne Université and the Alliance Sorbonne Université, as well as the École spéciale militaire de Saint-Cyr (ESM) and Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Police at Saint-Cyr-au-Mont-d'Or (ENSP), and the Université des Antilles. Others include the University of West Indies system as well as Cambridge, Oxford and the University of London and member institutions. There is also an NPC who teaches at the Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola, which is a prep school, rather than a university. Some NPCs should undoubtedly have degrees from some of the constituent colleges or universities of the University of Puerto Rico system, but I can't find any notes on that at the moment. One PC in Caribbean by Night attended Rice University and another one had a degree from Loyola University New Orleans. I'm still looking for more suggestions, especially notes on which universities might have offered degrees in Caribbean Security, Criminology or Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Military Science, National Security Studies, Security Studies and anything similar in the period from the 1980s to the 1990s, especially if anyone knows exactly when a given university within my region started offering such programs.
