Breeze tries to plunk the next guy in the vitals
16 skill, -1 range, -3 vitals needs a 12. Rolled a 12 7 damage (if it hits, but rolled preemptively) |

(OC: 7 damage -1 DR x3 vitals =18 injury Another bullet spent And put your OC stuff in brackets, like this, players.) The heart shot instantly slays the enemy. (OC: death check failed by more than 2.)

Re: Anarchy in Atlantis (IC)
The bullet does indeed hit centre mass.
(OC: 7 -1 DR x1.5? = 9 injury. Major wound, failed the HT roll, knockdown and stunning.) The goon goes slack like a puppet whose strings were cut. He loses his grip on his gun as he falls, moaning in pain and out of the fight. It seems all the intruders are defeated, although one last goon looks technically conscious and ready on the ground. He does not have his gun in hand and he’s on his back. Judging by the grim amount of blood pooling around him, he’s beyond hurt. The other two survivor are KO’d and just now stunned. (OC: he’s got Will 11, but Intimidation rolls to get him to surrender are at +5. Or should I just say the fight’s over right now?)

Re: Anarchy in Atlantis (IC
(OC: the general opinion of the players seems to be that the fight’s over, with all the goons out of action.)
The last conscious alive goon surrenders, still on the ground, rather going for his gun or stand up. He is too injured to do much other than raise his hands and plead through his moans of pain. He looks badly beaten. Combat time over. The stench of gunpowder is in the air. Blood splatters and a few small pools of dark red gruesomely deface parts of the floor and back wall. The 3 other bad guys do not respond or likewise surrender - they are in no condition to do so.

Jack stands up, brushes himself off, and looks around the room at his fellows.

Re: Anarchy in Atlantis (IC)
Voice goes up to the conscious thug.
"Who are you? Why are you bothering us?" OC: do you want me to roll in dice log or is this a secret GM roll? Interrogation defaults from intimidation, so Voice has an 11.

Re: Anarchy in Atlantis (IC)
(OC: everyone, take stock of your ammo. The NPC bodyguard warns you all to reload. He does so for his own gun, he fired 2 shot back there, and now reloads back to 6 in the chamber.)
Quote:
The bad guy gives a callsign; “Bad Hound.” They were hired to “sweep through the block.” Then he passes out. The thugs all had a Colt Woodsman semiautomatic pistol in .22 LR, two of them missing a bullet from their shots. Otherwise, they’re all fully loaded, and each bad guy has 12 extra bullets for the gun. There’s a total of 2 cigarette lighters, 2 packs of cigarettes, $2000 in Euros (all bills, $500 on each of them), 5 small knives, light leather armour, a rough map of the apartment blocks (a bunch of locations are crossed out in red marker with a big X), a red marker, two pairs of sunglasses, a small stack of business cards, and a chocolate bar (the brand attached to the pre-collapse corporation). (OC: see GURPS High-Tech: Pulp Guns 1, p. 19 for gun stats.) The hall is clear. The place is rundown. The noise didn’t seem to attract any gawkers, either, thank goodness.
