Rajat and Ann both would like to go out and visit this city: They don't have much experience with this sort of place either. All three of them go out to enjoy the city.

Adventure! Yay! Can Peter get a little walking around gold?

Rajat: "Subtle marks on signs. And naming conventions. And maybe he won't. We'll see."

"ooh, like what? That may come in handy if we're seperated."

A lot of people are using the local Anglish. There seem to be a couple of others that get thrown around as well. Arabic, maybe?

How subtly can the language capture magic be performed? If Peter thinks he can pull it off unnoticed, he will capture it, and a non-human language if he can manage it. He is very curious about the non-human languages. (perhaps there is a smith or someone otherwise with a fire he can sprinkle his cinnamon like plant into for incense.)

They try some new foods, and Ann makes a quiet comment about wanting a hidden camera. Rajat assures her that people have seen this all before.

Peter has learned to not be a picky eater, and is excited to try the flavors and textures... especially so he can write about all of it in his book. Does Goliath take to the unusual foods?

He will ask around regarding where the Wizards Guild is located. He does have a letter of introduction to deliver to report his presence as he was instructed to do before too much spellcasting. Is there time for that today?

Leon comes back late at night, telling them he's found the place.

Peter is excited to introduce himself to their friends! If they are not going over right now, Peter will say,

"Okay guys, here's the thing... If I got you guys to your contact, I may have finished my 'Thing' that I came for. Maybe not, I might be here for the Incarius Emissary thing... The point is, I may Jump out of here tonight. If that happens, I'd like to ask a couple of things. Please do follow up on the Incarius situation, you guys can continue communication through Matthew of Minimasan. And second Keep my clothes and stuff, especially this letter, and keep it for me, until I come back. If it turns out I can get out of here on my own, I definitely want to come back, but I may need to triage a new emergency if I dream out and that can take a while sometimes."

If he makes introductions at the Wizards guild before this conversation, he will leave instructions to send his stuff there instead of holding on to it, especially if they are wary of taking his stuff (that may be tracked by incaruius) with them.

I don't think its very subtle: you've got to get the subject to stand still, and burn the incense, which has noticeable smoke and smell.


There is a goblin street vender cooking over a live fire you might try.

Goliath loves the new foods. But he loves just about all food, so that might not mean much.


The food is greasy, with lots of meddeterrainian fruits, savory meats, cheeses, and small breads with other food inside. And a lot of fish. Its both very different and very familiar at the same time.

"I have been told that it comes from me, but I always felt like something was guiding me in my dreams since I always seem to show up where someone needs help, and I move again when things calm down, on to somewhere else that seems to need me. So I don't know who's judging if the jobs done for sure. "

Leon: "We can keep your things. You've done us a great service. But we'd like to have the chance to properly thank you back at base."

"It may be that I can't get out on my own, or that I'm here as part of the Incarius situation... I'm covering the bases just in case."

He gestures at a man selling meat and onions and peppers stuffed in bread nearby.

"I'm not sure. I've been to another place that stuff was supposed to get in but never get out, but I did."

"Oh, Sorry, I just, umn, nevermind, I mean to harm."

Peter just disengages, lacking a reasonable explanation that won't make things worse...

Ann: "But you can control where you go, right? So you could avoid the job if you like? Or stay where you are?"

"More or less, I kind of just see things and go, but I can sometimes repoint it or stay put. If I see people in trouble, I usually go and try to help and get back to whatever I might have been in the middle of before, if I can."

"If we get an off-world object there is a lot we can do with it, but you can't bring us those off-world objects."

Peter will give Goliath some care and check his paws and teeth for his general well being. The big fella's put in a lot of miles! They all have, but Goliath can't really complain if something's bothering him. Peter will use a litte Yaka-bioscan and make sure everything is A-Okay.

Ann: "A lock of hair will at least help us find your world. It won't help with any of the others, but hair would be useful for that world at least."


Goliath is as healthy as a horse. Maybe a little thin from all that walking.

Later, Ink Thur visits his dream : "I see you're still here. Did you finish your escort duties? Have they given my offer any thought?"

Peter smiles.
"I really really should? Why? What does you finding my world really get us? I'll take helping end an interdimensional war and learning how magic works over sitting in some lab any day."

Ann: "A lock of hair will at least help us find your world. It won't help with any of the others, but hair would be useful for that world at least."

"So, what happens when you identify a new world? You guys always keep so many secrets, or are you more open with modern societies?"

It occurs to Peter, it may not be in his own world's best interests to be their latest discovery.

Peter has been concerned for her, and all the Vutu, but he presumed she had found more pods or joined her people by now, even if she didn't like her new tribe.

Alone for all this time. Poor thing. Does she appear healthy? Can Peter pick up anything on the area?

Peter cocks his head and dips it in a small nod/bow and pays his 'patron' a bit of respect.

"Pretty much. We've arrived in the town and they've located their contacts and I'm still getting the lay of the land. I'll likely know more tomorrow. They haven't brought their wayward travellers in from the cold just yet. I might be why they're nervous."

Peter gestures to Torzuchi.

"This is Torzuchi. Can you help her? Can you tell where we are? This is one of those dreams that's not really a dream, I'm seeing another place in my sleep. I saw you sleeping in a feather bed with a embroidered blanket the other night.

I might be able to wake up here and help her, but then I couldn't finish my negotiation for you right away if I did that. Not that you're ready to go... there's more work to be done. What do you think? You wouldn't want me to leave a girl lost on her own, would you?. That would not reflect well on Peter Von Thur, Emissary of Incarius, would it?"


Peter wonders... If he shifts his dream to peer into the Pristine Realm, would Ink thur come along for the ride? Might he be able to communicate where Peter could not...

It occurs to Peter that perhaps he is only seeing others in Yrth because perhaps he cannot see out of the sargasso... which prompts him to try! He attempts to shift his perception to the Pristine Realm...

She seems healthy. Glowing with health, even. The leaves are falling off a nearby tree in the middle of summer though, as though it had suddenly died.

Peter cocks his head and dips it in a small nod/bow and pays his 'patron' a bit of respect.

Ink Thur: "They're worried about me, aren't they. I only need a way off. One world is enough for me. And I'm frankly exposed outside of the divine realm."

Peter gestures to Torzuchi.

The two dreams were seperated by a period of time, so Torzuchi isn't present. I suppose he could try to shift the dream that way...

Peter wonders... If he shifts his dream to peer into the Pristine Realm, would Ink thur come along for the ride? Might he be able to communicate where Peter could not...

It occurs to Peter that perhaps he is only seeing others in Yrth because perhaps he cannot see out of the sargasso... which prompts him to try! He attempts to shift his perception to the Pristine Realm...

Peter brings up his dreams with Ink Thur, and then asks if Ink Thur is coming with him as he shifts his dreams to the pristine realm...



Ink Thur vanishes from his dream. He sees An-Kona, looking at a map by herself while looking over a cliff.
