I'm fine with the fight ending, if it doesn't end now, voice is going to roll intimidation and probably end the right with that +5 bonus as soon as its his turn.

What’s say you?
I thought I just fired. Anyway, I see no need to shoot an already dying man.

How do I know that? What do I know that tells me that these aren't just the worlds most incompetent robbers and they were sent after us?

Well, Aleph’s got a good instinct for these things. He knows better than to take chances with dangerous gunmen. And all sorts of bad guys could want you dead and have the money to pay a bunch of scum to try killing you.

Of course, perhaps you rolled a secret critical failure and came to the wrong conclusion. But how likely is that?

Area Knowledge skills were rolled in secret, one of you rolled 2, another rolled 5.
Here’s what you know of the factions at work in the arcology, based on that;

The biggest crime syndicate, collecting tribute from most smaller gangs and running the drug trade, is named The Black Hands. Their turf includes docks/ports, a parking garage, and monorail stations. But their most noticeable controlled areas are the casino and a big nightclub. They have rich black market connections and they’ve been ramping up the drug trade lately. A lot of the mafia scum have tattoos to identify their membership, not to mention rampant addictions.

The anarchist commune controls a major hospital, a park, farms and food storage, housing sectors, a factory, 2 power plants, and a water treatment plant. They are leftist radicals. They have good hackers, superior numbers, doctors and high morale on their side.

What’s left of the corp Timaeus Dynamics has locked down the arcology’s offices, helipad roof, labs, main security centre, prison, a resort, and the exec suites. They have actual soldiers with excellent gear to call upon. Not to mention money. Their calling card is leaving a dead enemy gutted and discarded out in the open.

You’ve heard of some kind of magical cult active in the arcology - they leave behind weird graffiti with some kind of 7 or two faces motif. They could be based out of various areas not controlled by any other faction, but traces of them show up in places that should belong to the others without explanation.

That’s fine. Welcome back.

Players, consider having a public (accessible to all players) “loot sheet” that records both your personal equipment & money on hand, and whatever items your PCs get in-play. Or record it all carefully in the OC thread.

Are any of the marked locations on the map familiar?

They’re all in the same slum as your current location.

What shopping is available? do we have to leave the arcology, or just go up to guarded stores in a nicer area?

People in the arcology will sell stuff to you, if you can find them.
It’s a gamble, though, always a gamble.
