Re: Improving the GCA5 GURPS 4e Official Character Sheet

In any case, I have now fixed that so it should show the Torso value if only a single value is being displayed, and will fall through to the DR attribute if no Torso and then no Body values are found. Aside from that, I've also added an option to print thin solid lines instead of using dotted lines, for those that hate the dots. You can get this update to the Official sheet now through Check for Updates. Updates to other sheets, or for more substantive issues with the Official sheet, will take me more time.

Thanks, Armin!
On the paper doll - Eric B. Smith has a few on his Combat Cheat Sheet that might provide some inspiration for people who want something else: http://gurpsland.no-ip.org/#CombatCheatSheet

Re: Improving the GCA5 GURPS 4e Official Character Sheet
I like to use Hero Forge a lot these days to make character models (even though I don't usually print them, and don't have a 3D printer myself). I like to use the portraits for my character sheets. It could be fun to do that, using an active pose for the portrait and maybe a passive one for the Loadout image.
(I also like to use celebrity images when making more modern humans. Those are often easy to find multiple images for.)

Re: Improving the GCA5 GURPS 4e Official Character Sheet
Those are great ideas. Isolating the person against a background is easy if you have the right tools, much harder if you don't, but even with a background the overlay of the DR boxes would still work.
What I'd really like to see is support for the more advanced hit locations (the ability to customise them to some degree, even - not sure how that works but perhaps they have a "default" location to pull base DR info from which can then be manually changed for the additional spots? There are a few alternatives out there, but at some point they'll need to work in some way with the info in the GDF files) in terms of armour and actual locations and then through to things like FVTT (and for it to them handle layers of hardened armour and so on - feature requests already made to FVTT on that score).
