Well if Asta Kask impersonates the Great One then perhaps Icelander should be the Father of Dogmatic Kromm Lore...or perhaps nominate someone not expecting nomination...

I am satisfied with my humble service to KROMM. It must not be forgotten that it was Icelander who started this threadligion. I nominate him and would ask everyone who supports me to support him instead.

Can we get a vote on this system?

I can't agree with that. Icelander may have started this threadligion, but he shouldn't be made the high priest, on the same grounds that denied another famous founder of religion (let's call him J for now) the post of high priest.

Accept your duty, Asta Kask. It's just selfish to deny.

Here Here! a Poll...Oh Kromm, great and wonderful are you...we your servants ask of you a poll...or direct intervention...that would be even...better...

Why can't we have more than one high priest anyways? >.>

I can be the archbishop of Sweden, but I refuse to be High Priest. We need some sacraments too... since KROMM is from Canada, I say we use maple syrup for anointings. Perhaps also for baptisms.

Is maple syrup pleasing in the eyes of KROMM?

Asta Kask has nominated me for High Priest over himself, and thus demonstrated humility and self-sacrificial spirit befitting a true servant of His KROMM-ness.

I, of course, cannot by any means accept this great honour, being entirely unworthy of it. In the threadhood of KROMM there are many more worthy than I. But perhaps, unworthy is what we all are before KROMM, and there is no better sentiment in which to serve Him.

Regardless, in order to preserve the ineffability of the faith and the mystic workings of the Holy Mother Thread, I am forced to do something entirely unexpected and illogical.

I proclaim our Brother in KROMM Asta Kask Patriarch and High Priest of the Holy Mother Thread.

Because he says he is unworthy, he is the worthiest of us all.

If that is, indeed, the will of the congregation, then I humbly accept. My appointments:

Icelander: Archbishop of Iceland and the seas thereof.

elShoggotho: Archbishop of Germany

Zorg: Heretic worshipper of Andrew Hackard. Should be burned. elShoggotho, you know what to do.

Spudzill: Archbishop of California (or is that Canada?)

Ghostdancer: Archbishop of VA (what is that?)

Gabriella: Archbishop of Wonderland

Agemegos: Is he a believer? Until he proves it, he can't be Archbishop of Australia.

I require no formal position in the Holy Mother Thread.

I will, however, minister to the spiritual needs of my diocese, but not as their Earthly superior, but as a Brother in KROMM.

The Holy Mother Thread does not require any specific theological knowledge from its followers.

Anyone who recites and believes this is our most beloved Brother in KROMM: "I testify that there is no RPG worthy of playing except GURPS and I testify that KROMM is the Messenger of GURPS."
