Yay, new GURPS by Christopher! I am not posting my woes with the new store here, but let's say you're welcome to the accidental double-buy.
The book is looking very good and I am glad I can replace my playtest copy. One thing that is not looking good at all is the cover, though. I've complained a lot about 4 Edition illustration choices, but this is an all-time low. Honestly, even the Great Salt Flats map pack was better (and way more inspired). The book does deserve so much better. Heck, not even including any extra art and just putting the three or so Dan Smith characters already included on the cover would make it ten times better. RPGs are not all about art, but I am really at my wit's end with this.

They're probably going with what's basically an interior credits page, and if it gets a POD layout, it'll have a *real* cover?
(Meanwhile, please envision me cackling about how I can use this book's Spell-Thief template example to make a "Divine Trickster" template...)

Let's hope it does get the POD treatment. The book deserves it. Haven't seen any DF: Denizens there so far. And that title page is bad even for an interior credits page - doubly so because that's the in-store picture.

I wouldn't mind that - or Realm Management.
