Default Generic Term For 'Magic' Items?

Fairly simple question. Magic Items only really applies to items that are made using magic. If I want to talk about such items in general or items with undefined source what's the term? And what's the term for the creation process?

And what about other sources? Psionic is often used for Psi made stuff, but what about Chi/Ki? Racial?

I'm not sure there is a conventional term for that. "Empowered" might work.

I often use "artifacts."

"Psionic" is used for items that have a psionic effect regardless of whether they were created using psionic powers. (In fact with magic items it's less about them having been created using magic than them using magic. A god can create magic items using divine powers for example.) Most of the things created with power sources I simply refer to as "gadgets" because that's what they are.

Memetronic Generators!

I kid.

You could say supernatural or TL^ to indicate these are items that do not follow the laws of physics.

PK's artifact suggestion can work, although for many of us "Artifact" implies something old, not something that characters are going to be making or encountering frequently - Sting was a magic weapon, the Rings were artifacts. "Artifice" could work. Simply using a foreign word can generalize it - if you call your items madougu (literally "magical weapon" in Japanese, used for the various magical items in Flame of Recca), nobody is really going to be put off when there end up being ones that are neither magical nor weapons. Heck, the spiritual successor to Flame of Recca, Marchen Awakens Romance, just called the things ARMs. Rüstungs (German), Alttasalluh (Arabic), Vooruzheniy (Russian) all mean "armaments" and they - or shortened versions of them, so Rüsts or Voors - could be used.

As for making them, "Artificing" works well (making a person who makes such things an "Artificer").

Chi items are sometimes called Chi-enhanced or similar. Racial items will simply be named after the appropriate race - in [i]The Noble Dead[i] Saga, there's a mithril-equivalent that the characters simply call "Chein'as metal" after the race that makes such items.

Devices seems to be a reasonably common option in fiction too.

What's the goal here anyway? If you are looking for something in-world, a random pronounceable string that follows approximately the same phonetic rules you are using to generate character or place names will work better than any English word.

I would often say "Gadgets," meaning items that it is logical to build using advantages and gadget modifiers, rather than describing them as the product of cash outlays or technically describable work.
