Interesting! The rulings I could find generally went in favor of the casinos but I guess they were in places where the casinos and their backers had more political sway. Maybe its still a hot issue in 2100?

This has to do with the overall philosophy of baseline fairness that is heavily ingrained in the Olympic movement. Remember that originally professional athletes were barred from entering the contests, since it was considered unfair. (I vaguely recall even earlier in the movement's age menial professions being either formally or informally shooed, but at this point I'm likely misremembering the facts, so don't trim this disclaimer when quoting, please.)

Nah, it's an OK tangent. And in fact quite closely related to gambling (since betting on those competitions is probably still viable no matter what).

They can't ban you, but they can ask you to leave, bribe you to play other games, not sell you chips, "reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" ect. It's still private property, if they ask you to leave and you stay you are trespassing.

Remember that, if electronic aids are illegal, Honest AIs will presumably refuse to help someone count.
