Default Munchkin South Park edition

I couldn't use the search bar. It simply doesn't work when using my phone. I have few questions regarding the South Park edition.

1. When ally Randy Marsh is in play, it protects against bad stuff resulting in losing a level. What if bad stuff says "losing 2 levels"? Am I still protected?

2. When a monster is not interested in pursuing me as my level is too low, the monster is discarded and my turn ends? Or I still have to kick the door for a new monster to fight? FAQ doesn't specify this.

3. I'm not allowed to quote the card text so I'll try my best to paraphrase it. There's a One Shot card with Stan Marsh pinching his nose. When I play this card, which card exactly am I supposed to discard?

4. The rules mention "persistent curses". How do you distinguish them? All the curses' descriptions sound like a one-time thing. It's confusing.

It's my first post on the forum. I hope I'm writing in the right place. Just trying to figure the game out before I introduce it to my friends.

I don't know the South Park edition, so I am making some educated guesses.

1. If a card protects you from losing a level due to Bad Stuff, it should also protect you from losing 2 levels,

2. If a monster will not Pursue you, you can still fight it, but if you lose you Ran Away automatically.

3. What does the card say you have to discard?

4. Persistent curses are those which have an ongoing effect and a possibly a condition to end them, such as a curse which affects your next combat.

3. It's a One-Shot card saying "Discard this card...". Does it refer to any card of my choice from the table? Or perhaps it's about the One Shot card itself?

4. There's only one curse referring to "the next battle". Nothing else seems to be ongoing. However, even if it's regarding the next battle, then in what way it's ongoing? Battle happens, curse activates, battle finished, curse resolved. At least that's how I see it.

If a card says "this card" it is referring to itself.

Persistent curses should be kept in front of you, to remind you that you are cursed until their effect is triggered or cancelled. Curses that are not persistent are discarded when they are played.

To me it is simply not clear, when the curse is persistent or not :(

A curse like "Lose a level" is not persistent. You would lose the level and then discard the card.

A curse like "You cannot wear headgear" is persistent. You would need to keep the curse in front of you to remind you that you cannot wear headgear.

If the curse has an ongoing, or future effect, then it is persistent.

That makes sense. Thank you for the examples.
