And I think the newer style based on MH series might be called that too at time.

Re: [Magical Styles] Ritual Magic styles for modern Western Europe?
There is Ritual Magic using the basic spell magic system. There is Path/Book magic and then their is Ritual Path Magic, this is from Monster Hunters. That's where my title is from. Draw your own conclusions.

Path/Book magic used to be called Ritual Magic once upon a time. I still think of it as such, since it is more ritual based than standard magic.

To each his own.

Re: [Magical Styles] Ritual Magic styles for modern Western Europe?
I'm not arguing. I'm just remarking on how a confusion could occur from what may seem like distinct terminology. There are so many options in Gurps, it can get a bit confusing.

I wonder which is the time frame you have in mind, at least the century.

I have seen it and trust me, it will be worth the price of whatever issue it ends up in. I have seen multiple drafts of it, and how it went from an OK article to its final form.

Re: [Magical Styles] Ritual Magic styles for modern Western Europe?
Again, no idea if it'll even get in. I submitted something for this month
s issue that didn't make it in. No idea if it'll ever see print. It's okay, but it could be better. I've added a few things since then and it still needs some jiggerypokery, but might end up okay.
