Default Meeting Weapon ST requirements with partial (i.e. Lifting, Striking) ST

Simple question: which portion of ST (Arm ST, Lifting ST, or Striking ST) can be used to meet a weapon's ST requirement?

I swear I've seen the answer on the forums here before, but I couldn't find it with a search.

I seem to recall a Kromm post basically saying that, for simplicity, Striking ST should be used for all matters regarding the use of weapons. This includes Min ST for melee weapons and Draw ST for bows and crossbows. It might be more realistic to split those up, but then you get into strange situations where you're basing some weapons' damage on Striking ST, and some on Lifting ST.

EDIT: And here's at least one post by him on the subject.

Arm ST as well, if you use the weapon with the arm.
