Nah, that's explicitly equipment. It's not a whole lot different than a very fine sword purchased from money you got with Wealth.

I would just limit it from Imbuing attack based advantages. Most Imbuements are just enhancements that you could have purchased for the attack anyway.

Ok, I thought it was the other way around. But this works as well for Gambit; after all, he can Imbue every item and not just a specific gadget.
Just buy the Imbuements you like - Arching Shot, Conic Blast (for a "scattered deck"), Far Shot, Incendiary Weapon, Multi-shot (again, for more than one "card"), Penetrating Strike, Shattershot, Shockwave, and/or Traumatic Blow - AND work a big explosion Innate Attack as a Follow-up to the deck card.
Arching Shot, Far Shot, Penetrating Strike, and Incendiary Weapon would work fine on thrown cards with an IA follow-up.

Conic Blast, Multi-Shot, Shattershot, and Shockwave should work on the card damage but I wouldn't turn an Innate Attack follow up on one card into multiple explosions because you did a Multi-Shot. Likewise the Shattershot and Shockwave damage should be based on the card attack, not the IA unless you bought Fragmentation or Explosion enhancements for the IA.

Only marginally familiar w/ Gambit, but I'd say he has an Innate Attack as opposed to Imbued Throwing Art. I'd say the requirement for a throwable object is the -5% version of Environmental. -GEF

No signature gear is bought with money, as the point cost is based on its expense not is effects.

You can not imbue a gadget though.

Some good ideas here...

But am I limited only to small objects? Gambit can charge anything... From what I've read, he's charged the floor of a throne-room (from beneath), the armor plating of a 'super-robot', his bo staff (Gon' need a new one, cher.)

And if he doesn't throw it, the object blows after a set time, not by impact.

That's why I was thinking in terms of imbuement, with damage and fatigue cost based on the size of the object used.

So the secret to figting a imbueing supervillian is forcing him to use a bunch of gadgeteered nerf guns? : )

One imbues one's own weapons. Your choice of weapon will have no special effect on the battle against a foe with Imbue.

(Yeah, I caught the smiley, but I don't want to add to anyone's confusion about how this works.)

Too late... my head's already spinning :?
I'm just bout ready to throw up my hands and declare Imbuements as an aberration in an otherwise mostly well-ordered gaming universe </melodrama>

Maybe if I read it from back to front?
And what is "Uq" anyway?

I'm thinking of a character design:

Ragnar Poochwielder: travels with a pair of dachschunds in his holsters which he can Imbue with super-kewl burning attacks.
