Re: October 27, 2024: Heard About Any Good Hauntings Lately?
I lived with a roommate in a house where, in the back yard, a dead body would sit up in its grave. There were ghosts, a skull, a wolf man, a wizard, a mystical tour guide, and an alchemist. Oh, and a skeleton that liked going fishing.
But then again, those things mostly happened around Halloween.... Perhaps the weirdest thing was that when I was helping dig the grave for the Halloween tour, I found real bones. I didn't think they were human bones, but wasn't positive. So I had then checked by a professor. Fortunately, they weren't. But that was rather freaky.

I suppose the Queen Mary is the main Long Beach CA haunted location.
Besides the usual Halloween Dark Harbor events, there are ghost tours of the ship during the year. There are a few other possible spots (graveyards and an old civil war barracks). I'm sure we have a number of Native American graveyards around too. |
