More Money! More Tech!
I don't know if my personal wealth has gone up 50%, but global wealth sure has. Are we living in a new age of tech? maybe. Its not TL9 as described, but predictions of the future are hard.

On the flip side, keep in mind all your technological skills will suddenly be obsolete! So if you want training to still be able to use a computer, cell phone, etc.? Send me just half of that 50% increase! Spread the word!
Seriously, back in Third Edition days, I created a tongue-in-cheek GURPS adventure. That was with Third Edition's TL7 to TL8 change of 2000-2001. It was a lot of fun. So thanks to Steve for spreading the fun! (Not that our Editor-in-Chief hasn't been doing that for decades. So thanks, Chief!)
