I sometimes save money by cosplaying as one of my own characters. Sometimes I dress as the character before I even write about it.

But if you really want to save money, here's a character you can do: Doctor Who. Who knows how The Doctor will be dressed next time....

Learned a new word today. Disneybounding. And just think, there are thousands of guys currently 300bounding due to wearing small tight swim trunks and sandals. During the Tom Baker era of Dr Who, and several years after, there were a lot of long scarves and wide brim hats at scifi/fantasy cons. And companions have even more latitude.

If one keeps in mind Tom Baker's Doctor didn't always wear the hat, there's Bob Dylan's cover photo on Blonde on Blonde. The scarf and top look very similar; the hair looks almost identical.

And yes, Dylan did it first. But you know, time travel. The Times They Are A-Changing!
