Default Using Stabbity Stab!

Hello not sure if anyone is still monitoring this forum for Munchkin CCG. But I had a question about when a card says Deal 2 damage to the defender. Do I get to put that damage on an ally or does it go to the Hero automatically?

I’m thinking Hero because defender and Hero are one in the same.

Thank you!

You would deal the damage to the other player's hero card. The target of the damage is specified, so you don't get to choose other options in this case.

The defender in a fight is the opponent of the player who starts the fight. ( https://munchkinccg.game/gameplay/rules/#Start_a_Fight )

And you are correct, player and hero are largely interchangable when referenced. ( https://munchkinccg.game/gameplay/rules/#Hero )

Great thank you. Also thank you for the links. I tried getting on the website for the full rules but it said the site was broken. I just picked up a starter pack over the weekend. Didn’t realize this game was a couple years old.
