Attribute Cost Rewrite
Does anyone want to help me do this? In the campaign I'm playing in, we keep the flat 10 points for each attribute instead of the 20 for intelligence and dexterity. No need to ask why, but I have no idea of how to make a permanent change to GCA. I know I can go in and do it every time, but I'd rather save time if it's possible.
Thanks! |

Re: Attribute Cost Rewrite
If you create a custom GDF file and use the replaceTag on DX and IQ for the tags up() and down(), you can redefine them. Just set up(10) and down(-10) and make sure you are loading your custom GDF.

Re: Attribute Cost Rewrite
I don't understand German.
Haha. I don't know what you mean at all. I actually have no idea of how to work GCA 4 except to make a character, change loaded data files, and add character sheets. How would I go about doing what you're saying? Could you write it up for me, possibly? I hate to be lazy, but I figure it would be the easiest thing. Haha. I'm just trying to make DX and IQ be 10/-10 points per level. EDIT: Just clarifying that the first part was a joke. I mean that I don't understand this stuff. The more I thought about me saying that, the dumber I realized I probably sounded. Last edited by Raekai; 06-11-2012 at 10:59 PM. |
