I'm thinking about setting up an Infinite Worlds campaign and I have a few questions...
1. As far as I can tell, Centrum has two main goals in the Infinity War. First, it is trying to knock Homeline out of Quantum 5 (preferably to somewhere far away like Quantum 3) by shifting enough Echoes from Quantum 6 into other Quanta. Second, it attempts to expand the number of worlds in Zone Green (i.e., timelines that are first covertly and eventually openly controlled by Centrum). Am I missing anything? 2. The process of turning a taking over a world, Centrum-style, is to... A. Identify the most likely candidate among various nations to establish a world government (Anglo-style European nations are their favorites). B. Infiltrate that government and take it over from within. Centrum might have its own agents become statesmen on this timeline, or corrupt native statesmen and control them through Centrum spymasters, or perhaps simply reveal the existence of Centrum to certain locals and get them to take the nation over for Centrum (either for profit or because they buy into the Centrum ideology), or any combination of these. C. Help the puppet state take over the world. D. Rule the world through the puppet government. E. Eventually, reveal the existence of Centrum and have the puppet government "join" Centrum so the world is now openly part of Centrum. Am I getting this right? Thanks. Mark |

And while English-speaking empires tend to be a favorite, it's not a hard-and-fast requirement. On Dixie, for example, the CSA is certainly a candidate -- but so is the Republic of India. The theory seems to be that if the rigid, segmented society is already in place, the other details can always be introduced later.
