Re: extra attack question
This is a very good thread... I've always been hazy on which entries are Maneuvers, Actions, Attacks, and Attack Options. Using them in practice isn't an issue, just figuring out which is which and what is compatible with what.

Re: extra attack question
Don't feel bad about it, it's a pretty common sticky point.
Part of the confusion is that there's a maneuver called Attack (Big A), which lets you attack (small a). It's really hard to argue with naming the maneuver "Attack" - it's a very logical name! It's had the same name since forever as well. But it's an easy place to get things confused. If I could only make three changes for 5th edition, I would a) rename U parry and double-dagger ST weapon notes so the full names are clearly distinct b) Rename IT:DR so it uses some other set of initials other than DR c) find a new name for the Attack maneuver or at the very least include a box on the difference between "an attack" and "the Attack Maneuver".

Re: extra attack question
What's a defensive feint? I see Defensive Attack and Feint, but I don't think you can combine them (and if you could it would feel like a bit of a cheat, since Feints don't do damage anyway...).

Re: extra attack question
Also, I think it's important to note that by RAW, the extra attack must be with a diffrent weapon than the first attack. (Unless the extra attack ha the enhancement multistrike).

Re: extra attack question
I have a character with Dual Weapon Attack and Extra Attack with Multistrike for three attacks.
What I am wondering is if my first attack is a feint is it just my very next attack that the feint applies to or both of my other attacks that round? B365 states: "The defense penalty applies only to your next attack." "A Feint is good for one second! But if you Feint and then make an All-Out Attack (Double), the feint applies to both attacks." |

So... Maybe it does give an additional maneuver? |

Re: extra attack question
Wasn't the wording fixed in later printings? It does not, and this has been FAQ'ed.

Re: extra attack question
Can't find it in FAQ...
So I can't use Extra attack even with Move and attack, right? |

Re: extra attack question
You still can; Extra Attack allows one more attack on any maneuver that allows an attack at all. That's All-Out Attack, Attack, Move and Attack, and, from Martial Arts, Committed Attack and Defensive Attack.
