Yes, jellyfishes do have some neural responses... But I would hardly classify those are IQ 1 material - which if Im not mistaken, is the ratting of insects, is it not? Or are insects IQ 2? I believe it's 1, but even if it's 2, I could accept the 3 phylos of "worms" (sorry, Im not gonna try to type their names in english, but I do know them) as IQ 1, but I still remain on the opinion that Jellyfishes are still on the IQ 0.

I'd suggest that oozes, etc. can be controlled by one of Animal, Fungi, or Plant college spells, based on their origins. Alternately, whip up a college of "Slime Magic" which allows you to cast spells based on the nasty properties of fantasy slime monsters.

Perhaps it would be best to have the "Control Oozes" Spell into the Meta-Magic school. Those creatures are magic in nature and a bit aside from any such classifications. You could even say that they are just pure "magic emanations", and thus the Meta-Magic would be the one more fitting.

No. It's a triggered effect and requires the same level of intelligence as a mouse trap.

Right but if you were designing "items as characters" you still have some kind of mechanic for this.

Like as sword has "can be wielded". All I can think is treating a mousetrap like an Aura in terms of being able to inflict damage without using a maneuver.

That or where you have outside-maneuver attacks by Uncontrollable

I'd leave exact magical classification of Oozes up to the GM, but Animal or Plant College spells are the closest analogs for spells specifically designed to create or control them. Putting spells that affect magical monsters into the Meta-Spell category is a reasonable choice, however.

If you buy Innate Attack with any type of Delay don't you still need to use an attack maneuver to launch the attack first?
