Giant and dragon immunity
In the anime Ranking of Kings a character is revealed to be a full blooded giant, and in this case it's not by rolling four or less on four dice.
Should the practical immunity of giants and dragons to many poisons be turned into complete racial immunity?

Re: Giant and dragon immunity
It doesn't seem to me that Giants have any natural immunity to poisons. First, they are just as vulnerable to a poison that has no save roll as anyone else is -- weapon poison for instance, which explicitly affects "any living being". In fact, I don't see ST save rolls for most poisons, aside from those ingested (or a rattlesnake's bite, etc.).
For poisons which do provide a save roll, a higher dose could require a higher save roll. Of course, if you pour several bottles of poison into the giant's protein shake, he might notice it's off. What sort of immunity do you otherwise have in mind? |

Re: Giant and dragon immunity
ITL there are 10 automatic poisons and 5 that give saves vs ST. Any save vs ST is more or less limited to automatic failures for a giant.
Giving giants immunity to poison in general would keep them from being big targets.

Re: Giant and dragon immunity
What fun would politics be in a land or kingdom of all giants if they couldn't poison each other? Of course a giant poisoning a giant would know it needs a giant-sized dose.

I have to agree with Phiwum; increased dosage should require more dice.

Re: Giant and dragon immunity
Your volume goes as your area to the 3/2 power, so perhaps doses could scale like that
