What exactly would she tell haley. Actually, what won't she tell haley?

A reasonable question. There's what she'll say, what she won't say, and what she'll ask. In summary, she'll tell or ask Haley:

1) That she can get herself off world before Spring Break, though it may take a day or two.

2) That she may not be able to guarantee *where* she winds up.

3) Given the above, how can she help the Merlin CIA find her?

4) Is there any truth to being able to trace someone with a few hairs, or is that just a legend, even on Merlin? If it's true, can it work across worlds, or only when on the same one?

5) Tereza is likely to be absent for the rest of the day. She should be back around the time Morgan turns in. (I've forgotten if that's daybreak or nightfall.)

She will not mention that Tereza herself is a worldjumper, unless pressed. She will not mention Tereza's teacher to Haley under any circumstances. She first wants to learn more about him and, possibly, from him. If and when she joins Haley's agency, she'll have the option to present that information as a bonus.

Haley is quite pleased tereza thinks she can get off world. She presses for details about how best she can cover herself (haley) if something goes wrong.

Haley: "Hairs ... no, we've looked into that trick, and it didn't work for us. Helping them find you ... you could use a distinctive name when buying a fairly cheap but unusual substance. Or place an add for it. I'm not sure we could find you on a low tech world at all, but buying powered aluminum mixed with pure ground glass is probably distinctive enough."

"Powdered ...?" Chandra's face turns quizzical. "Do I even dare ask what that would do in a magical world?"

She considers Haley's first question."I assume you mean if something goes wrong with my chosen means of departure. The most likely result will be that I'm here a bit longer and have to resort to Plan B, the Spring Break method. Or do you mean if the Patrol discovers my presence before I have a chance to leave?"

Haley: "Absolutely nothing. I picked something useless so there wouldn't be any chance of someone else looking for it. No inside jokes, no interference, just distinctive behavior"

Haley: "I mean if your method of leaving alerts them to your presence. You seem awful sure it won't lead to discovery"

Chandra thinks back to her arrival, to her near-departure, to Tereza's departure, even to Haley's use of magic in her dorm room. The only time any of it drew attention ....

"I think we're safe so long as no one who's magically sensitive is nearby when it happens," she says. "And I mean quite near. When you were doing -- whatever -- in your room, I had to be fairly close to the door to pick up anything."

It still feels bizarre to talk of magic as a real thing. But perhaps one world's spells are another world's science.

"If you feel the need for safeguards, I'll listen," she says. "I don't want my memory permanently modified, because I do want to be able to make contact with your people and make sense when I do. But if there's anything that would work on a temporary basis, I'll hear you out."

Haley: "You plan to leave the way you came. That's... adequate. I don't know if I believe it will happen, but go ahead and try."

"I have some reason to expect success this time," Chandra says, considering Tereza's aid and her own near-launch. "And if not, the other plan remains in reserve. It's a poor quiver that contains only one arrow."

"Yes, use as many arrows as you can -- as long as you take care shooting them."

"To that end, visualization helps," she says. "If you could give me a world to shoot for -- not your homeworld, I'm not that naive -- where your people have a better than average chance of finding me, I can at least strive to keep up my end of the connection."
