Random Weather Conditions

Is anyone aware of a source where I might find some sort of 'weather chart' that can be used to determine random weather. I'm considering making one myself but it would be great if something already existed cause it seems like it would be a lot of work.

Weather is a big part of the story in the game world Im running and what I really need is a base to work from.

Any links or suggestions would be appriciated, thanks for your help in advance!!

I remember such tables in certain gaming D&D books, but I can't look it up right now.

However, here's a quick and dirty way of doing it in GURPS: Make a random roll on the Reaction Table and substitute "weather" for "NPC":

1 to 3: Very Bad. The weather dislikes the characters and will act against them if it’s convenient to do so...

Well, along the same lines as using the reaction roll table, you could do the same sort of thing with Fudge dice (that's what I do)

Each die has two "+", two "-" and two blank facings, so it can generate a result from -4 through +4 and you can interpret from there: -4 might equal a hurricane, tsunami, whatever through +4 which might be a beautiful sunny 70 degree day in the middle of February. :)

The second edition of Campaign Law by I.C.E. had some very complete weather tables. They are now offering it through their online store fairly cheaply. It's been a while, but IIRC there were several pages of tables and it involved systems designed to keep consistent with previous weather and to be correct for the season with small chances of unseasonable conditions.

A friend of mine has a set of weather dice. Each face has a shining sun, a partially occluded sun, a raining cloud, or a snowflake.
