Actually happened with a cult in The Elemental. But lets face it any reality named "Hades" is going to be dark.

Proteus is the setting of GURPS: Wildcards. (Because the virus causes people to take many different forms.)

Chrysaor is the setting of GURPS Thaumatology: Age of Gold. And the one place where a Gaian worldhopper might meet someone from Homeline.

Tithonus - supers have eternal life, but not eternal youth. In fact, they are damned hard to kill but as they grow old they waste away and go senile. In the end they have to be restrained and sedated for their own sake and the sake of those around them.

Maniae - using super powers causes mania and madness. Any Super Effort uses gives the user a permanent mental disadvantage worth 1 point per 5% increase instead of costing fatigue. Normal use causes temporary disadvantages worth 20% of the power that last for 1 hour per use.

Natural tendencies tend to get magnified. Law keepers tend towards compulsive patrolling, fanaticism (law), honesty. Heroic types tend towards impulsive risk taking and self-sacrifice. Shady types slide into super villainy.

It was superpowers more than magic, but the anime Mai-Hime had a contrived explanation for virgin only powers. Powers come from nanomachines in the blood. They only work in females. But females whose body have contacted sperm develop antibodies that destroy the nano-machines.

So they only work for virgin females, for a particular definition of virgin. It was intentionally set up this way by higher-tech people back when because women are supposedly more trustworthy or less violent or something. And you don't want them using their powers to set up hereditary dynasties. Yeah there are holes in that, but that's what the story says.

(Yeah, kinda creepy, like a lot of anime if you starting thinking about it.)

Porphyrion is a reality where the natives are nine times taller than Gaian, meaning Gaians are "coincidentally" just about the same size as Porphyrion's action figures.

Priapus is a reality where the dominant culture is polygamous and patriarchal. They don't get along with Artemis. Or well, anyone really. But Artemis finds them particularly offensive. TL 9, Low Mana.

Boreas is a reality which was just like Gaia until the moment in World War II when Master Disaster carried out his scheme to trigger several active volcanoes in Japan, which accidentally resulted in all the volcanoes of the Ring of Fire erupting in one big chain reaction. The result in modern times is a freezing and starving world with growing glaciers. Fun fact. Mistress Catastrophe is about to do the same thing on Enyo. TL 7, Normal Mana.

Athena-2 is a world of super mathematicians. All powers on this world line are super-science applications of mathematics. For example, Precognition would be justified as running ridiculously accurate simulations to predict the future. However, reality warping is not in the reach of the super mathematicians. I'd be willing to make an exception for Jumper in a world jumping campaign.

Gadgeteer, Quick Gadgeteer, or Lightning Calculator (Intuitive Mathematician) serve as prerequisites for a super's powers on this power. A super with Lightning Calculator would be able to use their abilities on the fly, but be unable to grant abilities to others like a gadgeteer. Generally, activation rolls should be replaced by a roll against Computer Programming or appropriate Mathematics specialty.

This world is currently in the 1970s at the height of the Cold War between the USA and USSR. Following WWII gadgeteer mathematicians have made a concerted effort to use mathematics to improve technology. They have successfully raised Computers and Mathematics to TL(7 + 2)^. That is, computers are designed based on TL7 mainframe-terminal infrastructures to achieve TL9 performance from bespoke super-science optimization. There are networks, but the internet hasn't been developed yet. Other areas of technology have reached late TL7-early TL8.

Unfortunately, the heroic mathematicians have super villainous counterparts. Super mathematicians make for dangerous villains as spies, organized crime lords, military leaders, and dictators. Nuclear powers also have the challenge of protecting their nuclear arsenal from those under the delusion that a crippling first strike is practical. The only way to protect their world from these threats is for the heroic mathematicians to fight them - both by their brains and brawn.

P.S.: I'm not sure what the appropriate limitation value for Gadgeteer or Quick Gadgeteer limited to mathematics and super-science applications of mathematics would be. Or for limiting the super-science to mathematics.

Gadgeteer isn't meaningful when applied to mathematics since it functions to increase speed and decrease investment. We already have an advantage that speeds up your ability to do math. They might have a Weird Mathematics skill, though.

I didn't think about the Weird Science skill when writing this world. Weird Science capped at a character's highest Mathematics specialty would be a good way to represent this world. In that case, ability activation rolls would be based on Weird Science instead.

The main reason that I mentioned Gadgeteer was for the decreased investment cost and potential for increasing TL. But it is plausible for Weird Science mathematics to advance technological development due to its knock on effects.

Urania (Muse of Astronomy) is a world where almost all super-powers come from a moral-cosmological source, either nefarious demons and eldritch pacts or judicious angels and sainted holy men. The starkness of the moral conflict within the world has warped both politics and sense of retribution. More than one hero from Gaia has found herself on the run when they landed in Ourania because they were assumed to be working for one side or the other of the Great Crusade. It's also not uncommon for a demonic servitor to break through to Gaia or another world in search of resources or ways to escape their fiendish pact.

Calliope (Muse of Epic Poetry) is a world where much of the fiction of Gaia is true, including works being written at the present time and over two hundred years ago, though powers are generally muted when present. Investigations are ongoing as to if Calliope is the source of Gaia's fictional inspiration or if it is Gaia's art exerting a cosmic effect on Calliope.

Thalia (Muse of Comedy) is a slapstick cartoon world whose residents are extremely accustomed to routine, severe violence. Visitor be warned, if you're stuck on Thalia, you look like a slapstick cartoon character but you're as fragile ever. When Thalians leave Thalia, they take their slapstick cartoon nature and relaxed attitude toward violence with them.

Melpomene (Muse of Tragedy) is a post-apocalypse world, destroyed in a catastrophic nuclear war that has left mutants and motorcycle gangs to dominate the world. Besides humanitarian interventions and investigations into what went wrong, many people have visited Melpomene to find lost loved ones who might have survived the exchange.

Erato (Muse of Love Poetry) is a world in which soul mates are an actual phenomena. Lovers from this world have almost psychic bonds and fate conspires to unite them. Gaians who come here looking for love are usually disappointed, but it is not abnormal for Eratan heroes to try to intervene on behalf of their alternate selves to unite them with their soul mate's alternates. Sometimes this is helpful, but it is frequently a cause of great grief as the Eratans cannot conceive of this being a bad idea.

Polyhymnia (Muse of Sacred Hymns) Gaia has a few self-proclaimed divine beings, but Polyhymnia is stuffed full of them and they are incredibly meddlesome and dramatic. The modern world still practices a form of folk paganism and philosophers debate ethics without regard to metaphysics. There are gods from Gaian mythology as well as new gods of new domains.

Clio (Muse of History) is still in the late Victorian era, but otherwise seems to be a world like Calliope. Dr. Jekel and Mr. Hyde and every other famous, public domain character stalks the streets. Exploring heroes sometimes find their way here in the hopes of foiling villains like Dracula and Moriarty. So far, successes are few and far between.

I don't really have anything good for the Muse of Dance or of Flutes/Lyric Poetry
