B115 Temporary Disadvantage
"any advantage that can be switched off and on at will, and that takes at least one second to switch"
P144 Psychic Vampirism
"Temporary Disadvantages, -10%"
..
"GM picks -10 points of the subject’s mental quirks and disadvantages, and the vampire suffers from these as he feeds"
This seems to set fun precedents:
1) if you have an attack with "Takes Extra Time", then the Ready maneuver(s) preceding the attack maneuver count as making it a "Switchable" ability.
2) abilities which take multiple maneuvers to Switch on begin to incur the effects of having the ability on as soon as you begin to attempt to switch it on, rather than them only beginning once the ability does switch on after those full maneuver costs are paid
Am I wrong/missing something here?
I can't remember seeing TD used for any other attacks besides this one, anyone know of any?
I'm wondering since Leech seems transient if I could also do this for Innate Attack or Healing which also seem transient.
