RL Exoteleport
I'm looking for advice on how to modify RL Exoteleport (Psionic Powers p.70). There are some issues with playability for the regular Exoteleport- at level one you can teleport 1lb of stuff to the moon. RL Exoteleport, has no weight restrictions, so at low levels one could, in theory teleport a sherman tank 10 yards. You see where this is going?
The compromise was to do RL Exoteleport with a weight restriction similar to Autoteleport- body weight + no encumbrance for free, then use the Bulk Compensation technique (p.68) for heavier objects. I'm trying to figure out, based on these limitations, what the modifier would be on the advantage- 10%, 20%? Any thoughts? |

Take a look at the stat blocks for the Exoteleport and RL Exoeleport abilities. The author shows how all the abilities are built.
The difference between Exoteleport and RL Exoteleport is that the RL Exoteleport build is missing the "Modified Capacity -30%" Limitation from the Exoteleport build. So, add that into your RWL Exoteleport ability. (That doesn't mean the printed prices drop 30%; it means that there's an extra -30% along with all the other modifiers when you do the math.) |
