1. No, you can't just Rapid Strike to split an attack into 3 or more attacks 2. But Martial Arts includes something similar to that, using Combinations. All of the books are RAW. |

If a character can do that kind of craziness, they should just have Extra Attacks and/or Altered Time Rate. |

Re: Quick-Shot/Rapid Strike/combinations questions
There is a perk, IIRC, that allows you to buy techniques further than the normal default. Not by the right book ATM, but I'll look later, I'm sure it's in Power-Ups: Perks.
This would do exactly what you want, for one of your questions. For the other, I tend to agree; You may stack certain ranged advantages such as Gunslinger or Heroic Archer, and you cannot use certain techniques for melee that you can for ranged. It would seem a few house rules so all of the advantages and techniques for ranged weapons have mirrors for melee would be appropriate. Allowing Trained by a Master and Weapon Master to stack might be enough, as well as the techniques for Rapid Strike. However, this gets into very cinematic territory, but so long as that's all right it seems balanced enough to me. The ranged versions are very cinematic, as well. |
