Default Raincoat & Itching Powder

I have Raincoat, worn over another armor (e.g. Mithril Armor)
If Itching Powder makes me discard Mithril Armor, must I discard Raincoat too?

Raincoat card says, that it's going with another Armor, but Itching Powder says that I must discard one Item.

We've ruled this differently on different cards -- careless of us. Generally, if you're discarding an Armor (or whatever) and you're wearing a second Armor that says you must discard it as well, then that's what you have to do. However, if you had two Armors that both said "You must discard ONE Armor," you decide which to lose.

I hope that helps.

Thanx!

Another question.

If I wear Raincoat under Cheat!, not over another Armor. Must I lose Raincoat in this case, if I lose my Armor?
Card says that I must lose it, if I lose another Armor, but Raincoat is under Cheat.

So, if I hit by "lose small item" and choose to lose Mithril Armor, should I discard Raincoat too?
I thought that if the loss of armor is caused by something other than "lose armor" (eg steal http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?t=137714 ), then I should not discard all my armor.

It's still Armor -- Cheat! doesn't override the type of cards, it just lets you use something you wouldn't be able to otherwise (a second Armor, for instance, or an Armor that is normally only usable by a specific Class or Race).c

The Raincoat text is clear: "This item may be worn over Armor, but if you lose your Armor, the Raincoat goes, too." (That said, you can't use the Mithril Armor to a "Lose a Small Item" curse, because the Mithril Armor is Big.)

What happens with Raincoat if somebody steals my another Armor? Raincoat goes to discards or to Thief with another Armor?

You discard the Raincoat. Someone taking your Armor doesn't get a two-for-one deal.
