Telrith swings but the skeleton dodges. Sullyfur misses, despite trying his hardest.

I really wish stone rain didn't have that "outdoors only" clause, or the skeleton portion of this fight would be over really fast.

I went and looked up reversing the weapon. Page 13 of low tech compendium 2. Technically, the weapon is a hammer with an axe head. "Turning to use the backup head is a free action". Doesn't matter for this round.

TURN 8

The two remaining skeletons stab at Vic and Telrith, struggling to keep it together despite their "wounds".

(OC: players, please roll for me. Skill 14, damage 1d+1 imp. Vic and Telrith should roll defences.)

The shadow elf hireling keeps an eye on the rear.

Zombies shuffle through the gap in the frontline now enough skeletons are dead. They outright get right up to Sullyfur, Vic and Telrith, axes in hand.

Bain observes the zombies approaching and quickly readies his next attack; he prepares a DWA against vitals. He attacks choose the zombies that were not under Gathika’s evaluate. The zombies fail to dodge (8) 9, both.

Attack 1
Fast-draw & Ready (14: 7, 10)
Shooting 14 (DWA, acc, vitals, quick shooting: 15, 3, -3, -1)
Hide: 3D6 → 14(5 +4 +5)
Successful!
Damage 2d6+4 -2 DR IMP *3
Hide: 2D6 → 11(6 +5)
Injury, 13*3 = 39.
The zombie is destroyed.

Attack 2
Fast-draw & Ready (14: 10, 7)
Shooting 14 (DWA, acc, vitals, quick shooting: 15, 3, -3, -1)
Hide: 3D6 → 11(3 +5 +3)
Successful!
Damage 2d6+4 -2 DR IMP *3
Hide: 2D6 → 11(6 +5)
Injury, 7*3 = 21.
This one makes it through the HT roll (12+3-5) 7, but now it is reeling.
Hide: 3D6 → 7(3 +1 +3)

One stab is sloppy and misdirected, but Vic finds his attacker is sure and certain with its spear.

(OC: One skeleton hits, Vic must defend, rolls a 14, 3 impaling damage (before DR) if that hits.)

Meanwhile, Bain shoots two zombies and eliminates one with a sure shot to the heart!

Vic just tanks the hit, DR 5.

Vic counter attacks with a critical success rolled 5, skill level 16), getting mayor wound effect from the critical success table (7), the damage after DR is 12, mayor wound.

The enemy rolls 13 for Ht check, failed.

The skeleton receives a response from Vic that breaks bones, knocking it down to the floor. It's not quite destroyed yet but it no longer fights or carries a spear.

Gathika stabs the zombie she was evaluating +3 in the vitals -3 doing a deceptive -4 committed attack +2. She succeeds with 15-2/12 and hits the zombie 8-2/7. She deals 5-2 damage. So its 9. The zombie suffers major wound and rolls a 17 in HT (crit. fail), so it passes out. GATHIKA WINS! \\\\٩( 'ω' )و ////

Telrith swings his axe at the zombie in front of him. Unless a 10 stops its defense, it takes 8 cutting damage before DR.



The Skeleton dodges Sullyfur's blow.
