RAW doesn't directly address this, but there does seem to be overlap. Perhaps you might take the quirk level of Charitable, Responsive, and interpret it as a specific way her Sense of Duty manifests itself: She has a felt duty to help everyone in essential things, but she also feels a desire to help them more broadly.

One thing you may want to keep at the back of your mind - is your character meant to be a saint? If the answer is no, then I'd suggest toning down certain disadvantages that requires the character to put their life and limb at risk on a constant basis for people the character might otherwise ignore. Pacifism: Can not harm innocents makes sense if you're part of any belief system that tries to limit damage done to the non-combatants. Vow to help a given class of women means that the character will only help women if they meet a given criteria as opposed to a sense of duty to women in general.
If the character has lived their life amongst trustworthy individuals - said character may initially start out as naive. If your character has been out in the world for any given time, then you could easily rationalize that the character was originally naive, but has learned her lesson(s). |

I want her to have disadvantage like “sheltered upbringing” or “naive,” but I’m not sure how to price it. Gullibility really doesn’t fit; clear thought and prudent judgement would have been part of her education in Taoist philosophy.

I'd make sure to minimise skills not related to the abbey... Perhaps add "Savoire-faire (dojo), Area Knowledge (forbidden valley)" but not more than that. If they will resist outside ideas at first, perhaps a quirt of "incompetance (non-abbey skills)" to buy off. a "Young" character has mostly STAT, talents, and innate advantages. A veteran character of the same CP value will have a wide array of skills with NO DEFAULTS representing training and world experience (or dealings with outside such as merchant, streetwise, detect lies...). Part of the trick will be role-playing them, such as not knowing who "the pope" refers to, for example... They might also have LOW TL as a disadvantage if cloistered in a lost abbey which could preclude modern skills and understanding (even in a medieval world being TL2 in a TL3 world can come with future shock...)
