I notice the Shield spell in DFRPG vs GURPS Magic is "cumulative" with DB from an actual shield.
I lean towards preferring the GURPS Magic version. (Incidentally I'd probably prefer to limit the spell "Armor" to not benefiting from any "fortify" bonus) Thoughts? |

Both versions are cumulative with an actual shield's DB; this is explicit in the text on GURPS Magic p.167 ("The Defense Bonus granted by this spell is cumulative with that from an actual shield") and from DFRPG Spells p.65 ("This grants a Defense Bonus that’s cumulative with that from an actual shield.")
