Re: Stuff I felt should exist....
Oh, I'm pretty sure everybody here would be interested - how about putting them on the web and posting the HTTP here? If you don't have a site, email it to me and I can put it up for you ;)

Re: Stuff I felt should exist....
I'm working on cleaning it up now. If I don't get bogged down at work, I'll have it ready by early next week, and I shoot it off to you. While I'm thinking about it, anyone want to proof read this sucker?

Re: Stuff I felt should exist....
Well, we could make it a PDF, you email me the text, and I'll set it in LaTeX.
Could also be a ridiculous idea, and it's my fever talking ;) |

Re: Stuff I felt should exist....
Four-Wheel Steering.
I know this sounds like a misnomer, as 'modern' CW cars are assumed to have at have partial stearing for the rear wheels, but I was thinking of 6-wheeled vehicles with twin front axles, along the lines of FAB1. Come to think of it, FAB1 may well have been the car that sparked the CW idea... but I digress. Four front steering wheels would decrease manoevers by D1 at any speed - at the cost of an extra axle (plus wheels), one space (for the steering mechanisms) and $1000. Only vehicles that can have 3 axles can have this modification, and it cannot be retrofitted. Ideas on how to balance this against other handling mods, if people feel it is unbalanced, are welcome :) |

Re: Stuff I felt should exist....
Just in case someone hasn't brought this up already: Bring back the Camper Shell.
Instead of converting a pickup into the camper body style, it simply covers the pickup's cargo spaces. It could have up to 10 points of armor just like any other accessory at some reasonable cost and weight. It may be deliberately targeted from the side, back or top at -2. Attacks from the side, top, or back have a 2 in 6 chance of randomly hitting it(-2 to hit to avoid this). Items in cargo spaces are weatherproof and protected as long as it is intact. Perhaps some sort of size limitation could be imposed, such as no single object larger than 4 spaces will fit under it unless it is oblong and/or flat(such as a large log, a bookcase on its back, or a mattress). |

Re: Stuff I felt should exist....
Ok, I'm almost finished with the PDF consolidating, organizing, and cleaning up the items I want to include. But, before I make this available, to guys who want a copy, I'd to know if anyone's who's posted here, has an issue with me reprinting this stuff. If so, shoot me a PM, and I won't include anything you've posted. Once I hear back, from anyone who wants to comment, I'll shoot out copies to anyone who's interested.

I don't have an issue - I've kept back some of my 'crazier' ideas lol.
I'd love a copy when you are finished too. |
