Latest post is Gangster Gats: Bonnie & Clyde, in which I examine the arsenal of the Barrow Gang (Tactical Shooting, p. 80).

Cheers

The Texas Prison Museum has a gun they claim belonged to them
http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/42526

For some reason I thought the Texas Prison Museum also had a BAR they claimed was one of the guns used by the lawmen to bring them down, but I don't see it online so I may be hallucinating

Next time I visit said museum I will definitely check

There are almost as many alleged B&C guns around as those claimed to have been owned by Jesse James. These things sell for megabucks but usually have very dubious chains of ownerships. That nickeled thing with pearl grips? Doubt it. A nickeled Government is mentioned by nobody. It would very likely have been photographed, as well. The known photos all show ordinary Army M1911s, of which Barrow had dozens.

That would be cool! Make some photos as well, if possible. It's a LONG way off for me ;)

Cheers

Thursday is GURPS day!

Another trip down memory lane, this time looking at the fun I had with Twilight: 2000.

High-Tech: Twilight War brings you a GURPS writeup of the infamous M16EZ.

Cheers

Thursday is GURPS day!

Tactical Shooting: Heat examines a scene in Heat. No, not that scene -- I've selected another one that is probably more interesting from a game point of view and also better to handle in my format.

Cheers

Even though I haven't seen the film for many years I've still seen it enough times to have it replay in my head while reading this.
Nice breakdown. And interesting how well GURPS can describe this.

I've added

Gangster Gats: Purple Gang, which covers some very interesting pistols and machine pistols found in a gangster arsenal in 1938.

and

High-Tech: Glock P9M, a detailed review of the P9M, an amphibious variant of the Glock 17.

Cheers

My latest post is

Tactical Shooting: Ronin, in which I dissect a scene in another one of my favourite films.

Cheers

Nice! I always wondered why only Vincent reloaded (of the 'good guys'). I'm betting he reloaded so Sam and Spence wouldn't have to!
