Default Weight of potions?

How much does each potion weigh?

The rules never make this explicit so you'll need to decide what is reasonable.

In my own game, potions (one dose) come in small 1 oz or 30g bottles. My logic is that this is a reasonable amount to drink in one swig within TFT's short turns.

There's also text on ITL pg 103 that characterizes potions as a "tiny thing" which also supports this ruling, I think.

Based on the weight in pounds of a bottle weighing 1 oz (1/16 lb.) and the weight of 1/4 Cup of water (0.125 lbs.), I'm going to say that one potion rounds off to weighing 0.2 lbs.

Yes, I neglected the bottle's weight... 5 potions to the pound sounds reasonable.

That's a close match to my version:

"A typical potion consists of 25-50 ml (¾ to 1½ oz) of liquid in a small glass bottle resembling a modern liquor miniature. However some potions have other forms. The second most common form is that of poisons and “subtle” potions. These consist of a gram or so of liquid or powder, held either in a small vial (much smaller than the “standard” potion bottle) or in an envelope."

To cross check a bit, I looked at what Pathfinder 1 has for potion size. It does define it. It is a small vial containing 1 oz of liquid. Don't remember ever worrying about it but in my mind's eye, potions were always somewhat larger. Nice to know we weren't overloading ourselves after looting the alchemist's lab.
