Default Random Things to Lift and Smash

Any good action or combat scene involves characters lifting, throwing, breaking, or taking cover behind random objects.

While the Basic Set, Action, & DF books cover the basics play can bog down if the GM doesn't have exact object stats at hand.

To fix this problem I've created a database of object Weights, HP, DR & Cover Values.

Raw data is culled from GURPS supplements or from real-world information, then "GURPSified" using HP & DR formulas on pp. B557-558.

I have tried to be accurate but in some cases I've had to guess as to weights and DR values. Corrections are welcome.

The format is intended to make it easy for GMs to look up object stats before play begins when designing tactical combat maps or planning action scenes. Taking it a step further, you can create map counters for objects labeled with Weight, HP, DR, & HT so that players can see item stats when play starts.

If feedback is positive, I will publish the rest of my database in subsequent posts.*

Notes

TL is my best estimate for when a particular item was used or discovered.
Item more or less describes the object
Class is the broad category the item best fits into.
Weight is in pounds, using consistent terms to make conversion to metric simpler.
HP (Machine) lists calculated HP assuming that the object is Unliving/Machine.
HP (Diffuse) lists calculated HP assuming that the object is Diffuse/Homogenous.
Material lists the primary material(s) used to make the item. Complex items are listed as being "Machines" regardless of their actual function.
DR is self-explanatory, although Cover DR might be higher due to internal components or multiple layers of protective material.
HT is also self-explanatory, but represents my best guess as to how tough an item is. Most objects have HT10, very tough or "ruggedized" items have HT11, and simple, very tough homogenous items have HT12.
Cover uses the "Full, Medium, Light, Very Light, None" scheme from GURPS Tactical Shooting. The GM should adjust actual Cover Value based on common sense.
Notes provides further details about the item.

Part 1: Low-Tech Materials

Raw materials used to make more complex objects, listed by cubic yards, square feet, or per pound, as appropriate. This is a "construction kit" for making fortifications or quickly determining how much weight or volume of material a spellcaster or power user can affect, or how much explosive is needed to reliably blow away an obstacle.

Multiply by square feet by 9 to get square yards/meters.

*Yes, I could just post the database to Google Drive or similar, but I think that the GURPS forums are a more suitable location.
