Sorry matrix I didn't realize until noiw that Butch had first aid...damn...I'll remember next time...way to go knowing my chareacter welll....D'Oh

I don't know why, but i've got a crazy headache (?). no, more like my brain feels dead. Anyway:

There's no helmets, just a stack of riot gear-ish armor.

Rethinking what I said last night, there might be some minor limits on what you character rebuilds can be. I'd like it if the characters personality (E.g. their mental traits) stay the same. they don't have to have the same degree of difficulty (CR 12 to 15), but they should keep the things they already have taken.

Would 10 CP be too much for a single chapter? i feel like 10 points can really influence a character if I give that much.

No worries... I just asked in character like three times or something, so I was being playfully snarky.

Got lucky on that HP roll... I may actually get my arm back.

That does seem pretty high in general, but that's not a bad thing, we started off pretty low...

I can't believe I am saying this but for the sake of trying help develop you as a GM I'D say 10 is a lot...I give a max of 5 per session...unless I feel the characters are way out matched and it would take too much effort to retool the encounters. As far as me retooling Butch...I like him the way he is disadvantage wise...I am just looking for a few more points to raise his combat skills..so in that case 10 would be awesome for retooling but as far as xps...don't go above 5.

Right, what he said.

An award should be no more than 5 per session (of course in PbP it's hard to know what to call a "Session").

Of course, if you want to make a game adjustment because you want more rounded or more capable characters for the game, that's it's own thing.

Chapter 2 pits the PC's against more evolved forms of the infected, as well as Hydes being more common. the parasites become more intelligent and keep their bodies from rotting, to the point where they can hide in human society... So the 10 points might help a lot.

With hat being said I think 10 points is sensible...25 would be better but then again Buch really didn't fight many things.
